Events:
Competition will consist of 7 events: Sheaf, Weight for Height, Braemar Stone, Heavy Hammer, Light and Heavy Weight for Distance and Caber. Athletes must compete in ALL events to qualify for Overall Athlete of the Day in each Class.

Rules:
Competition will be conducted in accordance to RSMA / SAAA rules.
All athletes must wear a kilt during competition.
Check in time for all athletes will be from 8:00 to 9:00 AM at the Heavy Athletics field tent.
Judges rulings are final.

Competition fee is $15.00.

This is a Release of Liability, READ BEFORE SIGNING

I hereby authorize the Rio Grande Valley Celtic Festival & Highland Games to use photographs of the above named in their brochures, pamphlets, advertising and other purposes in any way relating to Rio Grande Valley Celtic Festival & Highland Games activities.

I agree that the Rio Grande Valley Celtic Festival & Highland Games, their officers, directors and members or agents (hereinafter, the "Released Parties") shall not be liable or reponsible for injury to me (including paralysis or death) or damage to my property occuring during any Rio Grande Valley Celtic Festival & Highland Games event or activity and resulting from acts or omissions occuring during the performance of the duties of the Released Parties, even where the damage or injury is caused by negligence (except willful neglect). I understand and agree that all members and guests participate voluntarily and at their own risk in all activities and I assume all risks of injury and damage arising out of the conduct of such activities. I release and hold the Released Parties harmless from any injury or loss to my person or property which may result from my participation in the Rio Grande Valley Celtic Festival & Highland Games activities and events. I understand that this means that I agree not to sue the Released Parties for any injury or resulting damge to myself or my property arising from, or in connection with the performance of their duties in sponsoring, planing or conducting said event.
